This is a PRIME example of why inclusion is so, so important for children. Watch her looking at the typically developing children and doing what they do and imagine how that translates into the classroom??
Sooooo glad Katie has such a wonderful support system. Being an educator, it makes me sad that so many teachers (and administrators) don't understand the value of inclusion. It sure is apparent to me what a blessing Katie would be in ANY class. Katie is kicking butt and taking names, and her and her brothers make my day every time I read your blog! :)
